ATLANTA, Ga. -- Thanksgiving is over and it's time to ramp up your Christmas spirit. 'Tis the season for good tidings and good cheer so get a Christmas tree while contributing to a cause.
Beecher Hills Elementary School in southwest Atlanta is holding a LIVE Christmas tree fundraising on Saturday, November 24.
The trees go on sale beginning at 8 a.m. The sale will continue until 5 p.m.
Earlier this year, Atlanta Public Schools announced that Beecher Hills Elementary would be slated for closure at the end of the 2012-2013 school year due to low enrollment.
Beecher Hills is located at 2247 Bollingbrook Drive in SW Atlanta.
