ATHENS, Ga. -- Students may need to find new avenues for tickets to the SEC Championship because tickets are just not available.
Dawgs have been stopping by the ticket window at UGA all day to pick up their tickets to the SEC Championship game.
Everywhere you look around campus there are signs of enthusiasm for this weekend's match-up between Alabama and Georgia.
However only about one in every 30 students at the university is eligible for a ticket to the big game.
Roughly 42,000 people tried to purchase tickets through the university, however only 16,000 were actually available to Bulldog fans -- and they're all sold out. About 1,500 tickets were made available to UGA students but the majority were disseminated to season ticket holders.
Most students will be forced to purchase tickets from broker websites like StubHub.
And for those who purchase tickets from individuals, the SEC will set up a ticket window for ticket holders who want to check their ticket's authenticity.
