Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 29 points
and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the New York Knicks past the Milwaukee
Bucks, 102-88, on Wednesday.
In his return home, Wisconsin native Steve Novak scored a season-high 19
points, knocking down 5-of-7 from three-point range to help the Knicks bounce
back after an overtime loss in Brooklyn on Monday.
Playing without Jason Kidd, who sat for a second consecutive game with back
spasms, New York also got solid contributions from Tyson Chandler, Raymond
Felton and Pablo Prigioni.
Chandler came through with 17 points and eight rebounds, Felton finished with
12 points, seven assists and four steals and Prigioni contributed 11 points
and seven assists to the victory.
Brandon Jennings shot 6-of-8 from the field, scoring 18 points for the Bucks,
who have dropped four of their last five games on the heels of a three-game
winning streak.
Beno Udrih poured in 18 points as well and Monta Ellis tallied 17 points and
seven assists in the defeat.
