MARIETTA, GA--Cobb County Police investigators think speed was a factor in an early-morning accident that took the lives of a Marietta couple Saturday.
According to Cobb Police Officer Michael Bowman, the 2012 Ford F-150 failed to negotiate a curve on westbound Paper Mill Road around 12:30 a.m.. The truck left the road, struck 2 trees and came to a stop on it's roof.
Jessica Lombardo, 35, and Ryan Lamar Lombardo, 40, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
