SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- About 1400 Sandy Springs Georgia Power customers will be without power until repairs are made to a transformer hit during an accident on the 1000 block of Hilderbrand Drive.
According to Steve Rose from the Sandy Springs Police Department, a car hit a pole at the intersection of Hammond and Roswell Road.
Authorities are currently on the scene to assess the accident. No word on how many vehicles involved, injuries or if alcohol was involved.
According to Brian Green, spokesperson from Georgia Power, power crews are en route. No estimation on when power will be restored fully.
