ATLANTA -- A 2-year-old boy who had been missing for more than a week has been found safe.

According to police, LaQuanda Burley, handed her son Malachi Devon Burley over to a babysitter at the Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA station for a week on November 26.

She called police when the sitter, 26-year-old Sylvia Franklin, didn't bring the boy back.

"I just went crazy," Laquanda Burley said. "I couldn't eat, sleep, think, like I didn't know what to do. I'd been looking before I came to find the police and everything."

The boy and sitter were located Thursday. Both were OK.

Police said it does not appear like there will be any charges.
