ATLANTA, Ga. -- Long-time Atlanta activist and "People-TV" talk show host Jack Jersawitz has died.
The Atlanta Progressive News was first to report the story.
While many remember the host for his radical leftist views, his close friend attorney Bill Brennan told 11Alive Friday night that Jersawitz was also an expert researcher, who used the open records laws to take many of Atlanta's politicians and agencies to task.
Jersawitz passed away Thursday after a long illness. He was 78.
