DOUGLAS, Ga. (AP) -- State authorities are offering a reward for information leading to a suspected arsonist who torched a church that was under construction in southern Georgia.
Fire officials responded to the Mind of Christ of the Living God, in Douglas, Sunday around 1:30 a.m.
Officials say the building was about 70 percent completed when the fire began. Additional details on the blaze were not immediately available.
Authorities ruled the fire an arson, and the state Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner's office is offering a $10,000 reward for information in the case.
Douglas is about 90 miles east of Albany.
