STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. -- Henry County Fire units responded to a house fire at 100 Clifford Court in Stockbridge on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Sabrina Puckett of the Henry County Fire Department, it was just before 1:30 p.m. when firefighters arrived to the one-story home, finding a badly damaged attic. Firefighters said about 30 percent of the home was damaged.
Firefighters found one adult inside. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated.
As Puckett reported, the house had fire alarms, but they were not working.
Firefighters have not determined the cause fire.
