DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Two prosecutors from the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office resigned on Wednesday.
Chief Assistant District Attorney Don Geary and Deputy Chief Assistant John Melvin are leaving the county to accept comparable positions with Cobb County.
Geary, a prominent figure in the Dunwoody daycare murder case resigned despite his involvement in preparing for the county's upcoming case against Andrea Sneiderman.
Geary and Melvin are leaving the county at the end of the month.
