Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Joakim Noah netted 21 points and helped
key a pivotal late run that lifted the Chicago Bulls to a 96-89 victory over
the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center.
Luol Deng posted 19 points and 12 rebounds for Chicago, which outscored the
Sixers by a 17-9 margin over the final five minutes to notch their fourth win
in five games. Marco Belinelli and Nate Robinson also scored in double
figures, contributing 16 and 14 points, respectively, to the triumph.
Philadelphia was dealt its second defeat in its last three outings despite a
26-point, 9-assist effort from Jrue Holiday and 16 points and eight boards out
of Evan Turner.
Thaddeus Young added 13 points and nine rebounds for the 76ers, who were done
in by poor shooting from both long distance and the free-throw line.
Philadelphia went just 2-of-14 from 3-point range and made a mere five foul
shots in 11 attempts on the evening.
