DULUTH, Ga. -- The Gwinnett County Board of Education held a meeting on Monday morning, where they named Anthony Smith as the new Duluth High School principal.
Currently, Smith has been the director of mathematics for Gwinnett County Public Schools since 2011, and will join Duluth High, as Jason Lane transferred to Mill Creek High earlier in December.
According to GCPS, Smith has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Secondary Education from State University College at Buffalo, a Master's degree in Educational Computing, also from State University of College.
He has a Specialist's degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University, and is working on a Doctoral degree in the same field from Liberty University.
