ATLANTA -- A wind advisory is in effect for metro Atlanta through Friday evening.
Winds will be sustained, or a minimum of, 20-25 mph, and will gust up to 40 mph off and on through the day. Those winds will calm slightly overnight to sustained speeds of 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30mph. By Saturday evening, the winds will finally push out of the area completely.
