AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Federal authorities are probing the death of 62-year-old Isiah Scott, who died over the weekend at a chemical plant in Augusta.

Scott, of Hephzibah, was found unresponsive atop a railroad tanker car loaded with molten sulfur Saturday.

The federal Occupational, Safety and Health Administration - a branch of the U.S. Department of Labor - is gathering information on the circumstances surrounding Scott's death.

Officials say Scott showed no signs of injuries or burns, and the cause of death has not yet been determined. Authorities are awaiting a toxicology test.

A memorial is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hephzibah.

Hephzibah is about 15 miles south of Augusta in Richmond County.
