Russian adoptive families in the U.S. are grieving after learning that Russia has banned adoption of its orphans to the U.S.

Here is a photo gallery of some of the former Russian Orphans who now have permanent families in the U.S.

More than 60,000 U.S. families have adopted children from Russian Orphanages, where approximately 750,000 children live in small dormitories with spartan meals and little chance to see the outside world.
