ATLANTA -- Lillian Miles Lewis passed away in Atlanta Monday morning.

The 73 year old was the wife of U.S. Representative John Lewis, D-Ga. The two were married 44 years and have one son.
Rep. Lewis returned to Atlanta from Washington Monday night.
Details about his wife's funeral arrangements and cause of death were not immediately available.
