ATLANTA -- A teenager was sent to the hospital after being hit in the face with a gun Wednesday morning.
Atlanta Police dispatchers said the 14-year-old victim, who was not identified, was pistol-whipped in his forehead and eye at the Golf Vista apartment complex on Cleveland Avenue.
He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
There was no immediate word on the teen's condition. Police have not yet named any suspects or said why they believe the victim was assaulted.
