MURRAY COUNTY, Ga. -- Two boys were killed Friday morning in a tractor trailer crash in Murray County.

Georgia State Patrol spokesperson Franka Young said the boys were riding in a GMC Envoy that hit a tractor trailer on GA 136 after failing to stop at a stop sign on southbound Old 411.

Young said the tractor trailer was heading east on GA 136 when it struck the Envoy on the left side.

Police said the Envoy was driven by Susan Greene, and three boys were riding as passengers. The front seat passenger and the passenger riding in the right rear seat were killed in the crash.

Our Chattanooga NBC sister station, WRCB said the Murray County Deputy Coroner identified the boys killed as Mason Greene, 12 and Zach Greene, 6.

Susan Greene and a third passenger, Dylan Webb, 13, were taken to Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton for treatment. The truck driver, Bobby Douglas, was also taken to Hamilton for treatment.

Gordon County's fire chief confirmed to WRCB Chattanooga that the four were related to a Gordon County firefighter.
