BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- A southwestern Illinois man already accused with three others in a 2011 stabbing death of a Georgia man now faces a felony alleging that he tried to hide evidence.
St. Clair County prosecutors have charged 27-year-old Dylan Baldwin of Caseyville with concealment of a homicidal death. Authorities allege he tried to hide a pair of wooden table legs.
Baldwin and two others already faced first-degree murder charges in the August 2011 death of 38-year-old Melvin Gregory of Conyers, Ga. Horseback riders found Gregory's body on the side of a road near Cahokia.
Gregory had moved to southwestern Illinois two weeks before to be with his girlfriend, who's now charged with concealment of a homicidal death and obstructing justice.
Each defendant has pleaded not guilty.
