CONYERS, Ga. -- Darnell Glass says he's trying to stay strong for his 6-year old son, who survived the house fire. Glass was father to two of the other children that died late Tuesday night, but says he considers all them his own.
"Their smiles, their laughing. I just miss them. Everything about them," said Glass still trying to make sense of how it could have happened.

There had been reports Darnell Glass Jr. had a broken collar bone or arm, from when his mother threw him from a window to safety. But on Thursday, the only sign of physical injury was the glue left on his arm from a bandage he wore in the hospital.
Darnell's father says his son's real wounds are the ones you can't see, as he tries to figure out why his siblings aren't coming home.
"I tried to explain to him the best I could, but he don't understand," said Glass.
"He wants to get toys for them because he's probably thinking they lost their toys and he wants to get toys. He does not understand that heaven is not like going to the local store," said the family's pastor, Rev. Billie Cox.
Cox is trying to help the family look forward, getting donations to rebuild their lives. They have found a new apartment but have nothing to put inside it.
"We're talking bedding, mattresses, everything. Towels, linens and particularly as Darnell prepares to go back to school after the memorial service he's going to need school clothes and school supplies," said Cox.
Darnell wears a size 6 in clothes and a size 11 in shoes. His mother Reba and grandmother Rosetta wear sizes 20 & 22 in clothes. Sizes 7 1/2 & 8 in shoes.
Donations can be dropped of Thursday night at Macedonia Baptist Church, 12052 Barton Street, Conyers. Or you can contact Rev. Cox at email@example.com to drop items off at a later time.
A fund has also been set up at Wells Fargo bank for those wishing to make a financial contribution. The account number for the Glass Family Memorial Fund is 1009683226.
A facebook page has been set up to communicate specific needs and send condolences to the family.
