CINCINNATI, Ohio (WLWT) -- One person was killed and dozens hurt in a pair of crashes that closed parts of Interstate 275 and southbound Interstate 75 on Monday morning.
The crashses were reported in the westbound and eastbound lanes of Interstate 275 at Hamilton Avenue and on southbound Interstate 75 between Middletown and Monroe at the 31 mile marker.

News 5's Brian Hamrick said the Interstate 275 crash involved 70 passenger vehicles and 16 commercial vehicles.
One woman who was out of her vehicle was struck and killed, authorities said. At least 20 people were taken to the area hospitals.
"The snow came up and I could hardly see anything. I saw a guy jumping up and down yelling 'Stop, stop,'" one driver said. He avoided a crash, but was hit from behind by another car.
A 5-year-old child was not breathing at the crash scene, and emergency crews performed CPR as the child was taken to a hospital.
Authorities said heavy wire installed on the median to stop crossover wrecks prevented every vehicle that would have crossed over from doing so.
