ATLANTA (WXIA) -- Many customers across the nation have been reporting outages of AT&T's U-verse internet and television service since Tuesday morning.
In addition to outages reported to 11Alive by customers in the Atlanta area, outages have been reported in many states, including Florida, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina and Alabama.
Our NBC sister station in West Palm Beach, WPTV, reported Tuesday morning that service interruptions had been reported across parts of Florida as well.
AT&T sent a statement via email, saying they were aware of the issues and were working to fix them.
"A limited number of AT&T customers in some markets may be experiencing issues with U-verse service. A team of engineers and technicians are working to resolve the issue, and we apologize for any inconvenience to our customers."
By 4:30 p.m., outages were continuing to be reported in some areas, though other areas have since reported a resumption of service. AT&T has not provided an updated timeframe as to when full service will be restored to all areas.
