Nehemiah Griego, New Mexico shooting suspect
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) -- Authorities say the New Mexico teenager accused of gunning down his parents and three younger siblings had also planned to go to a Wal-Mart and randomly shoot people.
Police say instead, 15-year-old Nehemiah Griego texted a picture of his dead mother to his 12-year-old girlfriend, and then spent much of Saturday with the girl and her family.
A relative says he hopes the killings are not politicized and used in the gun control debate.
The shooting happened on Saturday, which was "Guns Across America" day.
