(NBC) -- Apple has released a software update - iOS 6.1 - which gives you the ability to purchase movie tickets through Fandango using Siri, supports LTE capabilities for a bunch of carriers around the world and adds the ability to download individual songs from iCloud.

There's now support for LTE connectivity for 36 additional iPhone carriers and 23 additional iPad carriers around the world.
iOS 6.1 is available is compatible with the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, third- and fourth-generation iPad, iPad Mini, iPad 2, and fourth- and fifth-generation iPod Touch. You can snag it by connecting your device to iTunes and hitting the "check for updates" button.
Alternatively, head into your gadget's "Settings" menu, select the "General" tab, and tap the "Software Updates" option to download the update over the air.
