ATLANTA -- Flooded lanes briefly blocked traffic trying to exit Interstate 85 near Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

The exit from the Interstate to Camp Creek Parkway was blocked by high water in the wake of severe thunderstorms.

Motorists were diverted to the Riverdale Road exit after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

After drains were cleared and the waters allowed to drain away, traffic was allowed to use the ramp.
