ATLANTA -- Thousands of North Georgians woke up without power after Wednesday's storms.

Statewide, less than 2,000 Georgia Power customers are still in the dark, mostly in metro Atlanta. Customers can report outages by calling 1-888-891-0938 or visiting Georgia Power's website.
In North Georgia, 4,750 Georgia Electric Membership Corportation customers are without power. Customers can report outages to their local EMC.
