Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Lavoy Allen pulled down a career-high 22
rebounds -- half on the offensive glass -- to go with 14 points, and the
Philadelphia 76ers sent the Charlotte Bobcats to a seventh straight loss with
an 87-76 decision at Wells Fargo Center.
The Sixers were outscored at the free throw line, 20-7, but had 24 more points
in the paint and got a spark from Jeremy Pargo, who played 29-plus minutes and
posted 12 points and six assists two days after signing a 10-day contract.
Jrue Holiday netted 20 points, Spencer Hawes added 17 and Evan Turner recorded
16 points and 10 boards in a balanced attack for Philadelphia, which improved
to 5-2 on an eight-game homestand that concludes Monday against the Clippers.
Ramon Sessions had 20 points for the Bobcats, who shot just 31 percent from
the floor in yet another setback.
