JONESBORO, Ga. -- Clayton County authorities arrested 23-year-old Aamirr Philpot of Jonesboro on Thursday for alleged sex crimes.
According to Sgt. K.T. Hughes, Philpot has been wanted over the last two months for sex crimes he had been accused of committing.
Hughes said Philpot would lure his victims using a social media website. Philpot would rob and rape the victims at gunpoint when then agreed to meet with him.
Authorities arrested Philpot after an extensive search. Philpot is charged with rape, flase imprisonment and aggravated sodomy, and is being held in the Clayton County Jail.
