ATLANTA -- The James Beard Foundation has announced the semi-finalists for its 2013 awards with a bunch of Georgia chefs and restaurants in the mix.

The award nominees will be announced on Monday, March 18, with the James Beard Foundation Awards taking place on May 3 and 6 in New York City.

Here's a list of the Georgia semi-finalists:

Best New Restaurant:
Cardamom Hill, Atlanta

Best Chef Southeast:
Billy Allin, Cakes & Ale, Decatur, Ga.
Todd Richards, The Shed at Glenwood, Atlanta
Steven Satterfield, Miller Union, Atlanta

Outstanding Chef:
Anne Quatrano, Bacchanalia, Atlanta

Outstanding Pastry Chef:
Aaron Russell, Restaurant Eugene, Atlanta

Outstanding Restaurateur:
Ford Fry, Rocket Farm Restaurants (The Optimist, JCT Kitchen, No. 246), Atlanta
Mike Klank and Eddie Hernandez, Taqueria del Sol, Atlanta

Outstanding Bar Program:
