Video: Sneiderman back in court

Andrea Sneiderman

DECATUR, Ga. -- Andrea Sneiderman was back in a DeKalb County court this afternoon.

The case against Sneiderman continued to focus on whether she played a role in the November 2010 murder of her husband Rusty.

Up next for Sneiderman is an arraignment, which is set for March 15 at 9:00 a.m.

As future dates were being discussed, Sneiderman's attorney asked Judge Gregory Adams that no court dates were scheduled on the same days as upcoming Jewish holidays. Adams demanded for those dates to be submitted well in advance.

Mrs. Sneiderman's coworker, Hemy Neuman, was the triggerman and is serving a life sentence.

But the court is now dealing with an indictment that was fine-tuned this week. It eliminates some of the more complicated charges, like racketeering and insurance fraud.

It keeps the malice murder charge and adds a charge of "concealment of facts" alleging that she failed to disclose her relationship with Hemy Neuman while the murder investigation was active.

The new indictment also adds "hindering the apprehension of a criminal" alleging that she destroyed records of text messages and phone calls between her and Neuman on the date of the murder.  It also adds perjury charges.
