ATLANTA -- Several accidents slowed traffic for commuters near Atlanta Tuesday morning.
A wreck on eastbound I-285 in DeKalb County blocked five lanes of the road. The two-car accident happened just east of Ashford Dunwoody Road.
Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Chata Spikes said two people were injured in the accident. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
On southbound GA 400, a four-car accident blocked two right lanes south of Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs.
Another wreck blocked traffic in one lane on I-20 westbound near Boulevard.
