OAKWOOD, Ga. -- A new U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs clinic is scheduled to open soon in northeast Georgia.
Work has finished on the 24,000-square-foot structure on Tanners Creek Drive in Oakwood.
The clinic is expected to open on June 1.
Along with a population surge over the years, the Hall County areas has seen a spike in the number of aging veterans who need care, according to a Times of Gainesville report.
