ATLANTA - Snow is expected in north Georgia Thursday night - but not enough to stick anywhere.
Forecasters said light snow is expected primarily north of Interstate 20 across the state after a quick-moving storm system moves across the Tennessee Valley Thursday night and Friday morning, bringing a chance of snow, sleet and rain to north Georgia.

Accumulations are not expected in the area, though in higher elevations in the North Georgia Mountains, a dusting of snow could occur.

According to 11Alive Chief Meteorologist Mike Francis, lows in Atlanta Thursday night are expected to drop into the mid 30s, while highs on Friday should top out at about 50.
