DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- One lane of northbound Interstate 675 in DeKalb County has reopened after the entire highway was shut down by an accident Friday morning.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said the wreck briefly closed down the entire highway just south of I-285.
DeKalb County police dispatchers say the accident involved a car and a tractor trailer carrying mail. The mail spilled all over the highway. GDOT confirmed the tractor trailer is a privately owned UPS cargo van.
To avoid the wreck, GDOT recommends that commuters exit I-675 at Anvil Block Road and take I-75 as an alternate.
