A warrant was issued for Davis after he allegedly hit a soldier from Ft. Hood with a champagne bottle at the Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge in Downtown Atlanta on Mar. 16.
Davis was in the VIP section of the club, which was holding a mix tape release party.
The victim, James Lettley, said he tried to start a conversation and wanted a picture with Davis, but was hit on the head with a bottle instead. He said a member of Davis' entourage then hit him in the face.
Lettley was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Fulton County Jail records show Davis has been arrested 10 times since 2006, mostly on assault charges.
He had his first court appearance Wednesday at 11 a.m.
