BRUNSWICk, Ga. -- A 17-year-old suspect was indicted by a Georgia grand jury on Wednesday for murder.
The suspect, De'Marquise Elkins was involved in last week's fatal shooting of a baby in his stroller in Brunswick. The teen was also connected to another unrelated shooting ten days earlier in a robbery attempt.

The eleven counts returned Wednesday against Elkins include malice murder for the slaying of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago. According to the indictment, Elkins shot the baby boy in the face with a .22-caliber while trying to rob the child's mother in Brunswick.

The indictment also charges 15-year-old Domonique Lang on seven counts, one of them being felony murder. Elkins' mother and sister were charged with trying to dispose of the gun in a saltwater pool.

Elkins, as said in the indictment, was also charged with trying to rob a man at gunpoint on March 11. Elkins shot the man in the arm.
