Soldier from SC dies of illness in Afghanistan

FORT STEWART, Ga. (AP) -- Military officials say a soldier from South Carolina has died from an illness in Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense announced Tuesday that 43-year-old Chief Warrant Officer Curtis S. Reagan of Summerville, S.C., died March 29 in Kandahar from a non-combat related illness. No further details were available from the military.

Reagan was assigned to the 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield.
