Young People Matter (YPM) is an emergency youth shelter in DeKalb County that serves homeless, abused, neglected and abandoned youth.  YPM is in currently in need of personal items for the youth such as clothing and toiletries, food and kitchen supplies and household items.

Jesse's House Emergency Children's Shelter

Jesse's House is a non-profit organization that provides emergency and long-term care to youth who have suffered abuse or delinquency.  The shelter: serves high risk girls between the ages of seven and seventeen who are referred from the Department of Family and Children's Services or Department of Juvenile Justice; reunifies the residents with their families whenever possible; and provides a safe house until permanent placement is found.
