ATLANTA -- As the Final Four Weekend gears up with thousands here for the games, violent crime in Buckhead has become part of the conversation.

The recent string of three kidnappings and robberies is troubling and Atlanta Police believe the number of suspects could range from two to six.

On Thursday afternoon, police released a picture, sketch and video of those they believe are responsible for this spike in violent crime.

Atlanta Police are asking for help and say they have a break in this case that may pay dividends, as they are working with the FBI's gang unit.

"I can tell you now there is an individual that's been arrested in South Carolina who was in one of our victims vehicles," said Lt. R.D. Woody. "The sketch is from one of our victims as this is one of our suspects in the incident, a major player."

The other picture is from an ATM. Men and women kidnapped between midnight and 2 a.m. were marched to ATMs to extract cash on top of the credit cards the suspects also stole.

The picture is from one of the cameras above the machine. The suspect is wearing a Lithonia Football hoodie.

Authorities say "it appears they are picking people randomly as they come home."

The suspects have been spotted across town to the Stonecrest Mall Footlocker buying hats and then leaving the store. Authorities are also on the lookout for a gold Maxima or an Infiniti with ornate wheels.

Police have this advice for those in Buckhead: "We would ask they be diligent and with other people, try to be in groups, don't be in back alleys by yourself."
