ATLANTA -- Three pedestrians are recovering after being hit by a car outside of an East Atlanta club.

The incident happened just after 2 a.m. outside of Asylum nightclub on Flat Shoals Avenue. Police said all three pedestrians sustained non-life threatening injuries. Two were transported to Grady to be treated for leg injuries; a third was treated on the scene and released.

Atlanta Police Sgt. Brian Wilkins told 11Alive News the driver, Robby Manley, was spinning his wheels and doing tricks in the street when he lost control and sped onto the sidewalk. Sgt. Wilkins said after the driver hit the pedestrians, pinning one against a glass window, he got out of the car and ran away. Another officer caught him around the corner and arrested him.

Manley was transported to Grady to be treated for a foot injury sustained in the accident. He will later be taken to the Atlanta City Jail. Police say he will face a number of charges, including DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
