AUGUSTA, GA -- A North Augusta woman is charged with drunken driving and property damage after crashing through a gate at Augusta National Golf Club, reports The Augusta Chronicle.

A Richmond County sheriff's report says Page Miriam Hall, 51, of Leigh Place Drive, entered Gate 6 off Berckmans Road in a Nissan Altima at about 12:30 a.m. on April 2. Hall drove onto the grass while disregarding security officers' verbal warnings to stop, the paper reports.

Hall was speeding and striking signs - all of which was caught on surveillance video, the report said.

The incident occurred as Augusta National prepared for this week's 2013 Masters Tournament.
