Damaged conductor lines have delayed power restoration to the Riverside/Breakwater neighborhood until Sunday.
ATLANTA -- Restoring power to the area's storm-affected customers appears to be nearing completion.

Georgia Power is reporting only 500 customers are still without electricity. The remaining Cobb EMC members still without power in Cherokee stands at 300.
The number of closed roads also continues to drop. The majority of those are in Sandy Springs. The most recent update from the city lists the following as closed.
- Spalding and Trowbridge
- 5660 Colton Dr
- 6555 Williamson Dr
- 7110 Duncourtney
- River Knoll Dr and River Court Parkway
- Dunhill/Dalrymple/Rivercourt Parkway
- Riverside Drive at Breakwater
All roads in Sandy Springs are expected to be open Sunday,
According to Georgia Power, electricity to the Riverside/Breakwater will not be restored until Sunday morning because of damaged conductor lines.
