NEW YORK (WNBC) -- A man stood up on a Newark-bound flight from Hong Kong and began screaming that passengers had been poisoned and drugged, according to NBC News.
The man was restrained by other passengers, a senior government official told NBC News.

United Airlines spokeswoman Jennifer Dohm said in a statement that "a passenger became disruptive" on the flight.
"The crew followed procedures and the flight is continuing as scheduled," she said.
The plane, Flight 116, later landed at Newark, where it was met by authorities. A man was led off the plane in handcuffs.
An FBI spokesman said there was no indication that any passengers had actually been poisoned
