ATLANTA -- Georgia results for the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) administered in Spring 2013 showed that students in the state's elementary and middle schools had improved performance over the 2012 results.

"Our results this year on the CRCT show consistent progress and we continue to see many students scoring in the exceeds category," said State School Superintendent Dr. John Barge in a release Tuesday morning. "This is a testament to the great work our teachers are doing to take students to higher levels of learning."
