One of the most popular events in Atlanta is set for Thursday - the AJC Peachtree Road Race. The race began in 1970, when 110 runners took on the first race. Over the years, the event has come to draw some 60,000 runners, requiring a lottery system to narrow down the crowd.
Anyone running the 6.2 miles, along with those going to enjoy and cheer may check out Complete Coverage of the AJC Peachtree Road Race online. Weather updates, video reports, music and other information is available.
