ATLANTA -- The wait is almost over. After weeks of weather delays, SkyView Atlanta says it will be open on Tuesday.
Crews are working to install the last section of the ferris wheel. After that, SkyView says it will have to install the 42 gondolas that will take you on the 15 minute journey around the ferris wheel.

Even if the weather is less than perfect, a spokesperson told 11Alive Thursday, there should be no problem celebrating its grand opening on Tuesday.
Thursday, crews assembled the remaining panels on the wheel, along with nearly a million lights can be programmed to turn just about any color you can think of.
While weather has delayed SkyView's opening by weeks, once in operation, it would take winds of 40 plus miles per hour or lightning to shut it down.
They're not saying yet, how much it will cost to ride the VIP gondola. It's decked out in ferrari leather, with a champagne cooler and TV.
Regular admission is $13.50 for adults, $8.50 for kids 12 and under.
