The City of Lilburn will host Sparkle in the Park on Sunday, September 1. Rescheduled from July 4 due to inclement weather, the celebration will include food, music, kids activities and a fireworks display in Lilburn City Park located at 76 Main St. The fun begins at 4:00 p.m., and the fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30 p.m.

Douglasville will kick off Labor Day with a parade in downtown Douglasville and Hunter Park on Monday, September 2. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and will march down Church St. Guests can enjoy a barbecue lunch beginning at 11:00 a.m. The day ends with a fireworks celebration beginning at 8:45 p.m.
Art in the Park in Marietta takes place Saturday, August 31 - Monday, September 2 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Artists will line the walkways of Historic Marietta Square and Glover Park for this free festival. Be sure to check out the ChalkFest taking place on Saturday and Sunday, featuring 20 professional chalk artists and a Chalk Art Competition.
