ATLANTA -- After 19 years with the AHA, Renee Glover, president and CEO of the Atlanta Housing Authority is resigning from her seat.

On Tuesday, the AHA Board of Commissioners accepted Glover's resignation which will go into effect, immediately.

According to a release from the AHA, Glover has agreed to assist AHA during a 90-day transition period which will end November 30. The board has embarked upon a national search for Glover's replacement.
The Chief Real Estate Officer for the AHA, Joy Fitzgerald, will serve as the interim CEO until Glover's replacement is named.
