DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- The DeKalb County Police Department hopes to fill about 80 open positions at two job fairs this month.
The fairs will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 and Thursday, Sept. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Representatives from the department will be on hand to answer questions and conduct pre-screening interviews.
Both fairs will be at DeKalb County's Fire Rescue Headquarters at 1950 West Exchange Place in Tucker.
To be a police officer in DeKalb County, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen, at least 20 years old, and have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Interested parties must also have no felony or domestic violence convictions.
