ATLANTA -- Food For The Poor, an international relief organization that helps feed millions of hungry people in 17 nations across the Caribbean and Latin America will be holding its Dreams Across The Sea Gala benefit in Atlanta on September 28.
11Alive's Brenda Wood will be the MC for the evening's events, which will be held at the W Atlanta - Midtown at 188 14th Street NE, in Midtown Atlanta.
Guests will enjoy an evening of fine dining, live music, dancing and a silent auction. Proceeds from the evening's events will go to support Food For The Poor's efforts to deliver life-saving medical resources and clean water to those in need in Haiti.
"Making a difference is one of the greatest privileges we enjoy," said Saurel Quettan, a gala co-chairman. "I know exactly how my money will be used when I donate to Food For The Poor. I have also had the opportunity to travel to Haiti, where I touched and interacted directly with the people who benefited from my time and treasure."
